Tribune Exposes Supreme Court Nominee

3/24/2016

Good Grief! I can only hope that the Trib's three-quarter page Perspective on Merrick Garland DOES represent a new low in journalism! The idea that a Supreme Court nominee should be judged by a summer camper who claims to have been "wrongly" beaten by him in a race 50 years ago is breathtakingly stupid. I have no opinion on Merrick Garland. I do have an opinion on Eisenhammer---he's a big baby to have nursed this silly grudge for 50 years and a bigger baby to think anyone should care about it today. Can journalism possibly sink lower? Maybe the Trib could find a drawing where he colored outside the lines!
